Still other parents might like that 3 syllable names often lend themselves well to nicknames. Maybe her given name is Adelaide, but parents like the versatility of Addy as well. Nickname names can make for good grow-with-me names. Cute on a little girl, but as she grows can have a name that may sound a bit more professional.
