It doesn't seem to matter if you asked for it or not - people, parents or not, are often quick to give you some good ole baby advice. Sometimes, you are lucky and you get a real pearl of wisdom. It's an insight that changes you or how you approach parenting; it makes life easier, frees you of guilt, supports you as a parent.
