All I can say is that Cindi over at CMH Designs, must we one smart and frugal woman. Being quite the spend thrift myself (see my frugal tips for babies), I think she and I would get along smashingly.

You see, what Cindi does is takes her leftover scraps of fabrics and turns them into this collection of "Wee Ones" stuffed animals. And wouldn't you know, she's even named one Piper. Perfect for our carol adaptation.

On the eleventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me, 11 Piper Penguins,
10 frogs a-leaping
9 babies dancing
8 milk bath jars,
7 swans a-pulling,
6 goose down blankets,
5 teething rings,
4 calling birds,
3 stuffed hens,
a dove corduroy dress,
and baby pictures with my sweet pear

Cindi describes Wee Piper Penguin like this: "My favorite food is a nice salty sardine. And I love chocolate milkshakes, too. I like swimming. A lot. I also like to cuddle and watch movies. "March of the Penguins" is my favorite.

I'm easy to care for. If I get dirty, it is recommended that I be spot cleaned. Every bit of me is super soft - my outside is very soft fleece; and my insides are made of hypo-allergenic premium polyester fiberfill. I am about 5 inches tall and 13 inches around (about the size of a softball)."

Can't wait for tomorrow to hear the next lyric: Read the full 12 Days of Handmade Gifts for Babies.
