How could I not use the classic Fisher-Price stacking rings toy for the Fifth Day of Christmas? Positively perfect.

On the fifth day of Christmas my parents gave to me:
Five Colored Rings
Four Song Bird Beanies
Three German Chicks
Two Wooden Turtles
And an Under the Nile Pear Toy.

The Brilliant Basics Rock-a-Stack Toy from Fisher-Price has been around since I was a baby. To use the word "classic" to describe it is the epitome of an understatement.

It's no wonder why the five colored rings have been popular for decades. They capture the attention of the baby beginning to develop his grasping skills and are wonderfully developmentally appropriate. You just cannot go wrong with the eternally popular baby toy.

Wondering what's going to come tomorrow in parody of the "six geese a-laying?" You'll just have to check back and read for yourself. While your surfing around, check out what the other About Guides are blogging about on their respective The Twelve Days of Christmas.
