I bet you've waited with baited breath to hear (or rather read) the lyric for The Second Day of The Twelve Days of Christmas for Babies, haven't you? Without further ado, here it is:

On the second day of Christmas my parents gave to me:
Two Wooden Turtles
And an Under the Nile Pear Toy.

I'll admit the Caroline Turtle Pull Toy from French Toy Maker, Vilac, can be a bit of a hard find. However, the quality of craftsmanship make this a great gift for babies just gaining their mobility and well worth the shopping effort. More than likely, if you fall in love with this pull toy, you won't be able to find it at a brick-and-mortar store but will need to turn to an on-line establishment (I'd suggest Oompa).

One of the many things that I love about this chunky Caroline Turtle is that it has a wide base and is low to the ground. I've found that other pull toys that stand up higher have a tendency to go belly-up and leave you or your little one dragging along a toy that's upside down. Not so much fun when that happens. Dear Caroline seems to be a real trooper and can stay on her feet fairly well.

And so I leave you all with your little ones and your wandering thoughts of what the third day of Christmas might bring! And don't forget to check out what the other About Guides are blogging about on their respective The Twelve Days of Christmas.
